P.S. Khalsa National Sr. Secondary School: Established in 1898 in Sayyad Village, Pakistan, the P.S. Khalsa National Sr. Secondary School is one of the oldest institutions in Punjab and has maintained a distinguished identity in the field of Education. The School was revived 3 years after the partition in 1950 and after immense efforts on part of the management; the School was upgraded to a High School. With “Education Spreads Light” as its motto, the school presently enrolls 1500+ students from all walks of life and features a Bio-Science and Chemistry Lab as well as a Math Lab for proper learning of the Students. The School is a crucial part of the 9W Groups legacy as it was set up by our predecessors before partition and is presently operated by the Board of the 9W Group as part of their CSR Initiative.
B.S.M. Sports Academy: Another anchor of our CSR Initiative is the S. Bhupinder Singh Malhotra Sports Academy which is wholly aided and operated by the 9W Group on the land leases out from the P.S.K.N.S.S. School. The Academy features an Olympic level 10 meter Shooting Range and offers Cricket and Basket Ball Coaching for Students at highly subsidized rates. The students of the Academy were recently recruited by the National Cadet Corps (NCC). These students would be given a direct chance to pursue the Indian Army after their training which will help them attain strength and discipline.
